Thanks for visiting us at K's Note-A-Bul Bulldogs.......
We are Rudy and Karan Kilgus and live in Congerville , Illinois .

We have been exhibiting and breeding the Bulldog for nearly 35 years.
All those years ago we purchased our first Bulldog as a pet. We had higher hopes for this
young boy we called Quincy, but we had never shown a dog before. We jumped in with both
feet and within 3 months had our first Champion!   K’s Quincy High Hopes finished his
championship at age 11 months.
It would be a few years before we finished another champion, but we were hooked…..we
loved the show ring and all the wonderful people associated with this wonderful breed.

To date we have 3
9 champions, with Quincy being the only one not bred by us. We have
been awarded membership into the Bulldog Club of America Breeder Hall of Fame and
the American Kennel Club Breeders of Merit program. Some of our dogs have been
awarded their AKC Grand Championship titles, and some have been inducted into the
very honorable BCA Hall of Fame. We are very proud of their accomplishments.

We also have stayed active outside of the show ring with our memberships in the Corn Belt
Kennel Club and Heart of Illinois Cluster, the Bulldog Club of Greater St. Louis, and
the Chicago Bulldog Club.

Rudy has AKC approval to judge the Bulldog as well as all-breed Junior Showmanship.
Karan
had AKC approval for the Bulldog and several other breeds as well as all-breed
Junior Showmanship.

Our children and their families live throughout the country leaving us home alone with the
fur-kids that we love deeply and dote on excessively. We still attend and instruct training
classes and exhibit as well as judge.

We look forward to sharing our love of the Bulldog with anyone who feels the same!
